Welcome to October!
That was a fast summer. I have been very busy working on Zoom with the WHO selecting the interventions from clinical practice guidelines and Cochrane Systematic Reviews, for rehabilitation treatment for people living with Parkinson. There are 30 people on the committee and the meetings take place, for me, very early in the morning. They are 2.5 hours in length which leave me exhausted for the rest of the day.

Why Parkinson Specific Exercises as PWP?
‘PWR!4Life™ is not a static or singular approach. It is a comprehensive neuroplasticity-principled program that integrates the latest research on Parkinson disease and Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Wellness. Therefore, it is always being updated.

WPC Connections
A warm, sunny, early autumn day. We were all up early. The grand opening was some hours away, at 7 PM, but already, things were beginning to come to life. Phones started ringing, as volunteers began gathering at the centre, helping to set out some of the activities of the day.

Music Therapy

This brain-boosting effect is evident at all stages of life, benefiting everyone from babies to seniors.

A New Year
This time last year we were completely focused on planning and implementing the build out of our new centre . Not only was there much excitement but also trepidation. Stalls on permits , supplies and timing of contractors created much frustration.
